I ordered the chicken wing dinner which was fresh. They were out of the sweet potatoes, so I end up getting the greens and Mac & Cheese. Both of those sides were really good. The portions are a good size.When I'm in Boston again I will order from here again!

Maxine's on St. James is your mommas home away from home soul food. Have tried them a couple times and they have not disappointed!! The fried haddock and potato salad are a must try
Great food and service. I got the smothered chicken wings with mac and cheese, and smashed potatoes. I am very picky about my mac and cheese and I really like it. The chicken wings with gravy were delicious. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone in the area.
